Interchangeable parts had a large influence on the outcome of the industrial revolution in many ways. If someone needed a spare part or a replacement part, the factory could just supply it. and the person can just install it themselves without buying a new one. This saved money and time. It also helped soldiers in the battlefield. when their weapon or another piece of equipment breaks, they have extras that can be interchanged easily, even during the heat of the battle. A lot of revenue for large industries depend on interchangeable parts to pay the bills and their workers. and when you need something fixed, you head to the store to get a part, not a whole new product. An example of this is when a windsheild wiper breakes, what do you? You head to the auto parts store, to buy a new one. This is how interchaneable parts influenced the industrial revolution, and how America was altered forever.-CK
